Our Murano lease was coming due in 5 months, but thanks to my longer commute these days, we had to return it early to avoid paying for extra mileage. We absolutely loved our 2005 Murano. It was large enough for our family to travel long distances comfortably without being one of those ginormous, gas guzzling SUVs.
So when the time came to give it up, we discussed all the alternatives. Should we look at getting another sedan, or possibly look at some alternative crossover SUVs? In the end, we decided it was probably best to stick with a vehicle which we knew as both dependable and aesthetically pleasing. To that effect, the new Muranos have been redesigned inside and out. Our model came with backup camera, power tailgate, powered backseats, dual moon roofs, XM radio, and all sorts of other stuff. It even has RCA inputs to connect a DVD player to the car’s audio/video system!
Since we had finished paying off the Nissan Altima, we decided the time was right to finance the Murano as opposed to leasing it. We researched all the pricing online and even had the VIN of the vehicle in hand when we arrived at the dealership on Saturday morning. When it was time to talk numbers, we held our own and I think ultimately, we did very well.
