Updating is becoming more difficult. My hands don’t work well – side effect, and I have trouble focusing and concentrating. Baby recovery has been a lot harder than expected, but Joshua decided that it was his time to come. The mysterious back pain is annoying because no one knows what’s causing it. I’m getting my first massage today, which my oncologist recommended. I’m so tense in my neck and shoulders too. Today I believe I’m a little better at the moment. I have to go back to the hospital – Palms West – for another round of chemo that will last probably most of the week, and cost outrageous amounts of money – my mom jokes that one Tylenol is $7.50. Right now, we don’t have a lot of info yet because we’re waiting for the results of the lombard puncture procedure that I had Wed. So, basically if you don’t hear from me it’s because I’m unable to type and have no energy, but Joel will try to update too.
On the bright side, Joshua is thriving. He’s done well since the beginning. Always breathing on his own. He’s eating incredibly well. The way he’s going; he’ll be home before we know it.
To those of you sending cards and gifts, please know that I thank you and that my family appreciates the gestures. I found a large card outside my door yesterday with messages from numerous co-workers and it was just a beautiful thing to find. I wish I could tell you what to do for me because I’ve been asked several times, but I honestly don’t know with the exception of prayers. Positive thoughts and faith is what I try to concentrate on.
