I’m just going to do a quick update. I’m feeling better. They prescribed me a cough syrup with codeine and it’s actually making a difference. I’m getting some more sleep instead of coughing all night, so that’s been really helpful. This morning a nurse came to the apartment to show mom how to flush my lines and give me my magnesium treatment at home. It wasn’t that bad; she was nice and it doesn’t seem that hard. So, today I didn’t have to go to the hospital for the first time in over a month. It also means I won’t have to go this weekend and miss any time with the boys who should be here late tomorrow afternoon – very excited. Tomorrow’s going to be a long day; I have labs, a PA visit and my first outpatient physical therapy session. I’m really not looking forward to next week. Wed. I have a bone marrow biopsy, which is not going to be fun and I also have to have another procedure to take a biopsy down my throat and through the rear as well. Of course, I’ll be unconscious – thankfully – for all of these procedures, but it’s going to make for a rough week, so I’m really glad I get to see the boys first. I think I’ll leave it at that and just thank everyone for their continued support.

I’m so glad you’re feeling better. Hey, don’t fret too much about the whole endoscopy procedure. I don’t remember anything from mine except asking the nurse for a Big Mac when she woke me afterward and her saying something like “Oh yeah, you’re still out of it”. You said I was sooooo loopy when you drove me home.
I love you so much and am so thankful for the good progress you’re making. God is shining down on us and we’re on our way to getting our family life back.
thinking of you and a safe trip for all the boys in your life! hope everyone has a nice visit! love ya!
